Good news to all ‘Glee’ fans! They will soon hit the big screen for 20th Century Fox made an official announcement today that they are to release a feature film for ‘Glee’ that will be called ‘Glee Live! 3D’. It will be composed of the footages that will be taken from their upcoming concert tour this summer. Its 3D presentation will then enjoy a two week run in theaters starting August 12.
The show’s co-creator said that this is an opportunity for its fans called Gleeks to still catch what transpired during the tour especially if they fail to get tickets to see the gang live. Murphy shared that there are just too many cities they can perform in but they really want to satisfy every fan of the show; especially those who live in cities that are not part of their tour stops.
You can expect majority of the leading cast members to sing songs from season 2 like ‘Teenage Dream’ along with some original pieces like ‘Hell to the No’. For sure, several of the greatest hits of season 1 can be expected too.
